Projects and the Mystery of Time

September 30, 2011

It’s been a long, hard month. Well, it’s been a hard year. Far too tough sometimes. This week I really did feel like just curling into a ball and just crying for a week. I felt like everything that has happened in the last 12 months hit me at once and I could feel all the doubt and frustration push me back and say, “Just go back to bed.”

Well, I’m feeling a little better, enough to at least pull myself up and write this.

I have big plans. Weekly Muse kind of fell through, but get ready for some changes around here.

First of all, Divine by Zero will now be a weekly feature on Fridays as I catch up with all the news and weirdness I don’t address in the regular articles.

Expect articles every day on Monday through Thursday. They’ll be shorter, but hopefully sharper.

I want to bring back Weekly Muse, maybe using a random generator for the results, and will invite other artists (writers, photographers, painters, whatever) to participate as well. It will be a good way to keep creativity going. I’ll feature your work if you do join in, and I may splurge on prizes if I get some more capital coming my way.

Once I finish teaching in three weeks, I’ll get going on finishing the last few stories for Charcoal Streets. I may even release some of them as e-novellas as a special offer.

Also, once I figure out how to do this properly, I will be asking fellow bloggers to do a weekly podcast that will accompany Divine by Zero. The short interviews and convos will get more opinions from the wide world of the interweb straight to you, the reader! For now, I just have to figure out how to record Skype conversations…

I’ll also be doing some clean-up on the site, mostly aesthetic stuff. If you have any suggestions for what else I could do, feel free to comment away! In the meantime, please enjoy this video of clothing in a can.
