It’s been a LONG week. I’ve got sunburn over my entire face and I feel sick and tired like… well, it’s just been a rough, long week. To make up for it, I’m bringing you a LOT of links full of epic randomness, as well as some short films, AND I’ll be writing a flash fiction for Monday, AKA the holiest day of the year. See you Monday!

With Halloween coming up, why don’t we take a look at one of the most misunderstood “villains” of all time? Lucifer, what do you have to say for yourself?

I think we can all agree that children’s drawings are creepy by themselves, but make them into stuffed toys in real life and they are totally cute. Yeah, I called these beasts of nightmare cute. You gonna argue?

The Divide is the classic tale of nuclear war and the people who survive in an underground bunker and must fight their own demons. And it’s got Michael Biehn. Sounds good to me!

I’ll admit I don’t play a lot of video games, but I’d be wierded out too if I saw any of these creepy game glitches.

Do you think you rock hard? Well do you?! I bet you don’t rock harder than THREE YEAR OLD!

If you want to give someone nightmares next time you cook, try out some appliances made to look like body parts.

I once heard the guys at Spill.com describe Piranha 3D as that “fish and porn” movie. From the looks of it, the sequel, Piranha 3DD is going for the same winning combo of boobs, blood, and guts.

And speaking of cheese and blood, an 18-year old filmmaker named Emily Hagins from Austin just got distribution for her vampire film, My Sucky Teen Romance. Looks interesting and is defiantly written with the genre in mind.

Carving pumpkins? Boring! Carving watermelons to look like Ninja Turtles? Awesome!

Paula Deen butter-flavored lip balm… If those words don’t give you nightmares, the logo sure will. “Put a little South on your mouth.” *SHUDDER*

That three-eyes Simpsons fish? Yeah, it’s real now.

Some sexy and awesome Comic-Con costumes! I think the guy who went as NES Link takes the cake for simplicity and cool. On the other hand, the ladies…

Halloween is coming up, so make sure you know what eyes belong to whom.

This hardware store has perhaps the BEST advertisement for the Halloween season. It doesn’t matter if you’re a human trying to survive the zombie plague… or a zombie yourself!

Apparently, they’re filming a new Resident Evil movie and two dozen or so extras were injured. I read this story and the only thing I got out of it was… Michelle Rodriguez is in it? Didn’t she die in the first one?!

I’m not going to give it away, but… okay, just watch this commercial and a) try to guess what it’s selling and b) try to guess the ending.

First of all, the most important thing…

I hope my little sis had a great birthday yesterday and she enjoyed the food and drinks. Love ya!

And now on to business.

Halloween is almost here! I asked my students if they would mind coming to class in costume on Friday, and everyone was fine with it. If they show up in costume, they get a few extra points on the quiz. Should be a fun, and I’m going in costume, too.

Anyway, it’s been an interesting week. Political activists have gotten a beat-down, Fox claims Beck can get you a little somethin’ somethin’, and you have personal message from the future. Let’s check out the links today.

I want you to wrap your head around this. Fox aired a commercial for Beck’s show claiming that part of your Happy Hour routine should be to record the show and, when you pick up a hottie, take her back to your place, get pizza, and watch Beck. Paranoia tinged with racism is apparently a pantie-peeler. Okay, let’s break this down. A conservative fake news network is telling you to go drink, pick up a woman for premarital sex, and that a former alcoholic will help you get in her pants.

Love movies? Check out some famous movie characters as zombies. My favorite has to be Robert Paulson. His name is Robert Paulson… His name is Robert Paulson…

A lot of people are carving pumpkins. Ever tried to do it with a gun?

NSFW! If you’re a geek and loves boobs and naked lady-parts, check out the geekiest burlesque shows ever! Some of them are actually downright disturbing.

Facebook has a movie. What would it look like if, say, other sites got their own movies? I’d actually watch the xkcd movie.

In politics, a MoveOn.org protestor was tackled to the ground and her head was stomped by some of of Rand Paul’s goons. She’s fine now but had a concussion. This is just the latest in a long series of attacks perpetrated by right-wing nuts. Even worse, her attacker is demanding an apology! Tea Partiers are a perfect argument against democracy at this point.

Want to scare the neighbor’s kids? Pass out some of this candy and give them nightmares for a month.

It says a lot about us as a culture when a student rapes a cheerleader, gets a slap on the wrist and is allowed to keep playing, but the cheerleader is disciplined for not wanting to cheer the man who raped her… Warning: Righteous rage fuel in the link.

Money’s tight for everyone. Want to know how to make a million bucks with no effort? First of all, leave your morals at the door…

The next Transformers movie is already getting off to a rocky start. After Megan Fox walked out, they apparently crashed two cars. And not on purpose.

And finally, check out every death in every Saw movie not counting Saw 3D. Personally, I loved the first one, but I was more interested in the plot and Jigsaw’s character than the traps. The series kind of went the route of Final Destination. Oh well. I still want to see more Jigsaw! Warning: If you have a weak stomach or don’t like gore, you probably shouldn’t watch this.
